FDNA CORPORATE WEBSITE DESIGN
ABOUT
DNA uses artificial intelligence to detect physiological patterns that reveal disease-causing genetic variations. The Face2Gene app, the main software used by FDNA, is a suite of phenotyping applications that facilitate comprehensive and precise genetic evaluations using facial recognition technology. FDNA’s mission is to give hope to children with rare diseases.
THE opportunity
FDNA was in need of a refresh of their brand and identity. The company just relaunched their latest suite of apps. To help introduced these new apps I was tasked to design a new logo and website. The look needed to feel different than the Face2Gene logo (the suite of apps) but still look related. FDNA is the parent company of the product Face2Gene. The website redesign was an opportunity to boost and support the new Face2Gene relaunch and the possibility to launch many more products.
THE GOAL
The goal of the complete redesign was to create a website to support for Face2Gene’s app relaunch. The website was designed to be the corporate website. The site will be the main hub for news, contact information, and updates.
THE RESEARCH
There are five primary users of FDNA, Clinicians, Labs, Researchers, Biopharma, and patients. These users all have a stake in FDNA.Clinicians need more information on the Face2Gene app. Labs need a place to find information work in conjunction with FDNA. Researchers wanted to know more information on the Face2Gene app to enhance their research studies. Biopharma are interested how they can improve on precision medicine. And Patients wanted to know how if Face2Gene technology could help find answers for their families with rare genetic diseases.
